Jesus is the gatekeeper to freedom. The Lord sets all prisoners free (Psalm 146:7) for He died as a ransom to set us free from all those things that hold us captive – our past, sexual impurity, drugs, alcohol abuse, soul tie relationships, depression, generational dysfunctions, people’s expectations, low self-esteem, low self-confidence…call on Him, he will answer and deliver you (Psalm 34:4).

God should be your EVERYTHING. This is very important because the devil’s favorite vessel is people - Do not allow your relationship with anyone to hold you captive and take you out of the presence and the grace of God. Yearn for God and God alone. Our love for others should be a reflection of God's Love for us, not a replacement. Love is free. We should never have to fight or work for the love of others. When someone loves you, they love you unconditionally. There is nothing you can do to make them “unlove” you.

For years I allowed myself to be held captive by many things - my hair condition, the generational dysfunctions within my family, unhealthy soul tie relationships, and people’s expectations. But now that I know the Truth, I am free. I remember when I first gave my life to the Lord, I didn't fully understand His Love. I would pray on my knees and ask Him to reveal himself to me. It was not easy, mainly because when he is taking you through, he brings you face-to-face with all your demons. However the hardest part is acknowledging these things because He (His Love) is right there with you. Seek and acknowledge Him in everything you do, for wherever the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17) and if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed (John 8:36).
